YANKEES: Welcome Back Cairo

Bryan Hoch (MLB.com) and Peter Abraham have both reported a one-year, $750,000 deal to bring Miguel Cairo back to the Bronx. This fills the last position player hole on the Yankees. Miguel was an important piece to the Yankees last year as he played in 5 different positions for the team including an extended time at second base when Robinson Cano went on the disabled list. Despite not having a very high average (which is tough when you don't play every day), Cairo has always struck me as a guy who comes up big when the Yankees need him. He might not hit the big homerun but you certainly wouldn't mind seeing him up with the bases loaded.
